🎯 Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and physically fit Helper to assist ITI Technicians in field activities related to meter installation, wiring, and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) tasks. The ideal candidate should be reliable, hardworking, and willing to work under field conditions while supporting the technical team on-site.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- 🔌 Assist technicians in meter installation and cable laying activities
- 📦 Handle loading and unloading of meters, cables, and related materials
- ðŸ› ï¸ Support the GMR/Technical team during field installation and O&M tasks
- 📲 Help update installation-related data using the mobile application and assist with meter replacement note documentation
- 🔠Carry out basic field support tasks related to consumer indexing, wiring, and equipment handling
- 👷 Follow all safety protocols and ensure PPE compliance during on-site work
- ✅ Perform any other duties as instructed by the technicians or site supervisors
🧠Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical equipment and tools
- Physical strength and stamina for field work
- Willingness to learn and support field operations
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or technicians
- Basic mobile app usage (for data updates)
- Teamwork and discipline
🎓 Qualifications:
- Minimum 8th / 10th pass
- Prior experience in electrical project support is a plus
- Freshers with interest in technical fieldwork are encouraged to apply
