📠Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to operate CNC Turning or Milling machines for precision component manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CNC machinery, the ability to read technical drawings, and a strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Turning and/or Milling machines for precision machining
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and process documents
- Load raw materials, secure tooling, and monitor operations during machining
- Conduct in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.
- Adjust machine parameters, tool offsets, and speeds/feeds for accuracy
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain cleanliness in the work area
- Complete production records, inspection logs, and quality control documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and report machine faults or quality issues promptly
📘 Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, or relevant trade
- Prior experience operating CNC Turning or Milling machines preferred
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documents
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, gauges)
- Understanding of basic machining parameters and tool selection
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required
🌟 Desirable Attributes:
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, or similar CNC control systems
- Knowledge of tool life monitoring and basic programming adjustments
- Familiarity with quality systems and production tracking
