Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and dependable Caretaker to manage and maintain the cleanliness, security, and general upkeep of the premises. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, hands-on with minor repairs, and capable of ensuring the smooth daily functioning of the property or facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- ðŸ› ï¸ Perform routine maintenance tasks (basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.)
- 🧹 Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the premises including common areas, washrooms, and surroundings
- ðŸ›¡ï¸ Open and close the property/facility securely at designated times
- 🔠Conduct regular inspections to identify damage, hazards, or needed repairs
- 🧯 Ensure compliance with safety standards and emergency procedures
- ðŸ—“ï¸ Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs and services
- ðŸ—‘ï¸ Manage waste disposal, gardening (if applicable), and general hygiene
- 🚨 Respond to emergencies like water leaks, power failures, or security issues
- 🧾 Maintain logs and records related to maintenance, incidents, and service schedules
- 🤠Assist residents, tenants, or staff with basic facility-related support
Qualifications & Skills:
- 🫠Minimum 10th pass; vocational training or experience in basic maintenance is a plus
- 👨🔧 Prior experience in caretaking, facility management, or similar roles preferred
- 💪 Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- 🔧 Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general repairs
- â±ï¸ Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or with minimal supervision
- 💬 Basic communication and record-keeping skills
- 🚪 Willingness to live on-site (if required) and work flexible hours
