🎼 Job Title: Music Teacher / Composer
We are seeking a talented and passionate Music Teacher / Composer to join our institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching music theory and practice, guiding students in instrumental and vocal training, and composing original pieces for school events and performances.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- 🎵 Teach music theory, history, and practical skills to students of different age groups
- 🎤 Conduct individual and group sessions in vocal and/or instrumental music
- 🎼 Compose and arrange original music pieces for school programs, competitions, and productions
- 🎹 Instruct students in various musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, keyboard, drums)
- 📝 Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and progress reports
- 🧑🎓 Encourage student participation in music-related activities and competitions
- 🏫 Collaborate with other faculty members for cultural programs and annual functions
- 📆 Organize and manage school music events, rehearsals, and performances
- 🧑🏫 Maintain discipline, motivation, and a creative classroom environment
📌 Qualifications & Skills:
- 🎓 Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Music or equivalent certification
- 🎼 Proficiency in reading, composing, and arranging music
- 🎸 Skilled in at least one musical instrument and/or vocal performance
- 🧠 Strong knowledge of music genres, styles, and teaching techniques
- 🎯 Creativity, patience, and the ability to inspire students
- 🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- 📚 Experience in teaching or working with school-aged children preferred
