📝 Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components as per engineering specifications. This role requires a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- 🛠️ Set up and operate CNC machines (lathe/milling/turning) based on job orders and technical drawings
- 📏 Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job instructions
- ⚙️ Adjust machine settings, tools, and offsets to ensure accurate machining
- 📐 Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- 🧽 Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
- 🧾 Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- 🚨 Identify and report machine malfunctions or production issues promptly
- 👷 Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment
✅ Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 🎓 ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Tool & Die, or related trade
- 🧪 1–3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines
- 🔍 Strong understanding of machining processes and tool usage
- 🧰 Familiarity with measuring instruments (Vernier, micrometer, gauges)
- 💻 Basic understanding of CNC programming is a plus
- 📋 Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- ⏱️ Willingness to work in shifts and meet production deadlines
