Jobs Description
The Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and retrieving products from the warehouse or storage area based on order slips, preparing them for packaging and shipment. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked.
- Locate products using barcodes, pick sheets, or RF scanners.
- Ensure accuracy of items picked by verifying item numbers and quantities.
- Place picked items into containers or bins and deliver them to the packing station.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged products to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking area.
- Meet productivity targets and deadlines consistently.
- Follow all safety and warehouse procedures and protocols.
