Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient identity and explain blood draw procedures.
• Collect blood samples using venipuncture, capillary, or fingerstick methods.
• Label samples accurately and ensure correct handling and transportation to the lab.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of equipment and workspace.
• Enter patient and specimen data into health records or laboratory systems.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and provide first aid if necessary.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and request replacements when needed.
• Follow infection control and quality assurance protocols.
• Assist with specimen processing and clerical tasks as needed.
