Picker Responsibilities:
- Locating and retrieving items from shelves or storage locations.
- Using scanners or computer systems to track inventory and confirm item details.
- Ensuring the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- May be responsible for some initial sorting and quality checks.
Packer Responsibilities:
- Preparing items for shipment by selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Packing items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Applying labels and shipping information to packages.
- Ensuring packages meet weight and size requirements.
- May be responsible for weighing and measuring packages.
