• Prepare and cook:
•  A wide array of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, steamed dishes, soups, noodles, dim sum, and more. 
• Recipe adherence:
•  Follow recipes meticulously and ensure consistent quality and flavor. 
• Food presentation: 
• Determine how food should be presented, and create attractive displays. 
• Food safety:
•  Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards. 
• Kitchen hygiene:
•  Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. 
• Inventory management:
•  Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies. 
• Menu development: Contribute to menu development, potentially creating new dishes or modifying existing ones. 
• Staff training: Train and supervise kitchen staff, including delegating tasks and ensuring proper food handling techniques. 
• Leadership: May be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, particularly in higher-level chef positions.
