The Domestic IT Helpdesk Attendant is responsible for providing technical support and assistance to users within a home or small office environment. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up devices, and ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

1) Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Respond to IT-related queries and provide remote or in-person assistance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with software installation, updates, and troubleshooting.

2) User Assistance & Training

  • Guide users on using new software, applications, and devices.
  • Create and update user manuals or quick troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist with email setup, password resets, and data backup procedures.

3) System Maintenance & Upkeep

  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance checks.
  • Ensure antivirus and security software are updated.

4) Collaboration & Reporting

  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support or vendors.
  • Work with other IT personnel to ensure system efficiency.

Education Qualification

Education Level : Bachelor's Degree

Technical Education : N/A

Certificate : TOT Certified in Domestic IT Helpdesk Attendant.

Industrial Certificate : N/A
