Job Overview

AITMC Ventures Limited is looking for a skilled and experienced TOT-certified Electric Vehicle Service Technician Trainer to deliver offline training to candidates in accordance with the curriculum and guidelines prescribed by the respective Sector Skill Council.

The candidate should possess good technical knowledge of electric vehicle servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, along with the ability to deliver theoretical and practical training effectively.

Educational Qualification and Experience

1. Educational Qualification: ITI in Mechanic Motor Vehicle (MMV) or Mechanic Auto Electrical and Electronics, or another qualification accepted under the applicable trainer eligibility criteria.
2. Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the automotive or electric vehicle servicing field, subject to the applicable trainer eligibility requirements.
3. Certification: Must hold a valid Training of Trainers (TOT) certificate issued by the respective Sector Skill Council.
4. Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of EV components, battery systems, electrical and electronic systems, vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
5. Training Skills: Ability to conduct practical demonstrations, manage trainees, and prepare candidates for assessments and certification.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Candidate Counselling: Counsel candidates about the course, skill development, and career opportunities in the electric vehicle industry.
2. Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions according to the module curriculum prescribed by the respective Sector Skill Council.
3. Technical Training: Provide theoretical and practical training in EV servicing, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis.
4. Attendance Monitoring: Maintain daily attendance records and monitor candidate participation.
5. Daily MIS Reporting: Prepare and submit daily MIS reports covering attendance, training progress, and batch activities.
6. Pre-Assessment: Conduct pre-assessments to evaluate candidates' knowledge and practical skills.
7. Assessment Preparation: Prepare candidates for final assessments and certification through revision, mock tests, and practical exercises.
8. Candidate Motivation: Motivate candidates to improve their performance and achieve good assessment grades.
9. Placement Support: Guide candidates toward relevant job opportunities and encourage participation in placement activities.
10. Safety Compliance: Ensure that candidates follow proper workshop safety procedures while working with EV components, batteries, tools, and electrical systems.
11. Documentation: Maintain training records, assessment results, lesson plans, and other required documentation.
12. Result Target: Work toward a target of 95% assessment success through effective training, regular practice, and continuous candidate support. Actual results depend on candidate performance and assessment outcomes.
