Job Description

Ekta College of Sanskrit is looking for an experienced and TOT-certified Assistant Yoga Instructor to conduct offline training for candidates as per the curriculum and guidelines prescribed by the respective Sector Skill Council. The trainer will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training, monitoring candidate progress, maintaining records, and preparing candidates for assessment and certification.

The Assistant Yoga Instructor role involves supporting yoga sessions and guiding candidates in yoga practices, while maintaining a safe, organized, and professional training environment. The relevant HSSC qualification covers yoga-session activities along with pre- and post-session responsibilities.

Educational Qualification & Experience

1.       Minimum 12th Pass / relevant qualification as applicable to the approved QP and current SSC guidelines.

2.       Relevant qualification/certification in Yoga will be preferred.

3.       Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Yoga Instructor / Assistant Yoga Instructor / Yoga Trainer.

4.       Must have practical knowledge of yoga practices, asanas, pranayama, meditation, and basic wellness activities.

Must be TOT Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council.

5.       Candidate should have good communication, interpersonal, counselling, and classroom-management skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Counselling Candidates

1.      Counsel and motivate candidates regarding the training program, attendance, learning outcomes, assessment, and certification.

2.      Address candidates' basic training-related queries and concerns.

Training Delivery

3.      Conduct training as per the Module Curriculum designed by the respective Sector Skill Council.

4.      Demonstrate and explain relevant yoga practices, postures, techniques, and procedures.

5.      Ensure effective practical and theoretical learning.

Attendance Monitoring

6.      Monitor daily candidate attendance.

7.      Maintain accurate attendance and training records.

8.      Follow up with candidates regarding irregular attendance.

Daily MIS Reporting

9.      Prepare and submit daily MIS reports.

10.  Maintain records of attendance, training progress, activities, and candidate performance.

Pre-Assessment

1.       Conduct pre-assessment activities to evaluate candidate knowledge and preparedness.

2.       Identify learning gaps and provide additional guidance where required.

Assessment & Certification Preparation

11.  Prepare candidates for the final assessment and certification.

12.  Conduct revision sessions and practical demonstrations.

13.  Ensure candidates understand the assessment requirements and procedures.

Placement & Performance Motivation

14.  Motivate candidates to achieve good grades and successfully complete the course.

15.  Encourage candidates regarding available placement and career opportunities.

16.  Support candidates in developing professional skills and confidence.

Training Quality & Results

1.       Maintain high standards of training quality and candidate engagement.

2.       Work towards achieving a target of 95% candidate results, subject to candidate attendance, participation, and assessment performance.
