About the Role

Amulets Educational Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a qualified and experienced TOT Certified Dresser (Medical) Trainer to deliver healthcare skill training in accordance with the curriculum and guidelines prescribed by the Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC).

The trainer will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training, maintaining candidate records, preparing candidates for assessment and certification, and supporting candidates in achieving successful outcomes.

Trainer Eligibility

1. Trainer must be TOT/ToT Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council for the relevant job role, as applicable.
2. Trainer should meet the education, relevant industry experience, and training experience requirements prescribed by HSSC/NSQF for Dresser (Medical), HSS/Q3004 Version 3.0.
3. Relevant healthcare, nursing, medical, clinical, or dressing-room experience will be considered as per applicable HSSC trainer norms.
4. Strong communication, classroom-management, practical-demonstration, and candidate-handling skills are required.

Note: The published HSSC trainer requirements for HSS/Q3004 v3.0 should be followed rather than using the Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics/Computer Science trainer qualification mentioned in the initial requirement.

Candidate Eligibility

1. Minimum Qualification: 10th Pass
2. Alternative eligibility may include 8th Pass with relevant experience or a relevant NSQF Level 2.5 qualification with required experience, as prescribed for the QP.
3. Minimum Age: 18 years

Key Responsibilities

1. Counselling: Counsel candidates regarding the Dresser (Medical) course, healthcare career opportunities, and training requirements.
2. Training Delivery: Conduct classroom and practical training according to the curriculum and modules prescribed by the Healthcare Sector Skill Council.
3. Practical Demonstration: Demonstrate procedures related to wound dressing, bandaging, dressing materials, splints/casts, first aid, infection control, and safe handling of healthcare equipment.
4. Attendance Monitoring: Monitor daily candidate attendance and maintain accurate training records.
5. Daily MIS: Prepare and submit daily MIS reports covering attendance, training progress, practical sessions, and other required information.
6. Pre-Assessment: Conduct pre-assessment/mock assessment activities to identify candidates' learning gaps and assessment readiness.
7. Assessment & Certification Preparation: Prepare candidates for final theory, practical, viva, and other assessment requirements and guide them on certification procedures.
8. Candidate Motivation: Motivate candidates to maintain good attendance, achieve good grades, develop practical skills, and pursue relevant placement opportunities.
9. Safety & Infection Control: Ensure candidates understand infection-prevention practices, biomedical-waste management, workplace safety, hygiene, and emergency/first-aid procedures.
10. Training Records: Maintain lesson plans, practical records, assessment preparation records, attendance sheets, and other required documentation.
11. Candidate Performance: Monitor individual candidate performance and provide additional guidance or practical support wherever required.
12. Result Support: Work towards achieving a target of 95% successful assessment results, subject to candidate performance and assessment outcomes.
