- Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Processed Food Entrepreneur for a Part-Time position. The candidate will be responsible for planning, producing, packaging, and managing processed food products while maintaining quality, hygiene, food safety, and regulatory standards. The role also involves supporting business development, costing, marketing, customer handling, and day-to-day food processing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage processed food production activities.
- Select and procure suitable raw materials and ingredients.
- Apply appropriate food processing and preservation techniques.
- Maintain food quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Follow proper cleaning, sanitation, and workplace safety practices.
- Handle food packaging, labelling, storage, and inventory.
- Monitor product quality during processing and final production.
- Calculate basic production costs, pricing, and profit margins.
- Maintain production, stock, sales, and other business records.
- Support marketing, sales, and customer relationship activities.
- Manage basic business operations and supply-chain activities.
- Follow applicable food safety and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities for new food products and business growth.
- Promote sustainable and efficient food processing practices.
