Job Role: Multi-Skill Technician – Fruits & Vegetables

Employment Type: Part-Time

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

1. Handle and process fresh fruits and vegetables as per standard procedures.
2. Perform sorting, grading, cleaning, washing, peeling and cutting of fruits and vegetables.
3. Operate basic food processing and packaging equipment safely.
4. Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation and GMP practices.
5. Carry out basic preservation, drying, storage and packaging activities.
6. Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality.
7. Maintain proper temperature and storage conditions to minimize spoilage.
8. Follow workplace safety procedures while handling tools and machinery.
9. Maintain production records, stock details and processing documentation.
10. Identify basic equipment issues and report maintenance requirements.
11. Minimize product wastage and ensure proper handling of processing waste.
12. Follow applicable quality standards and workplace procedures.
13. Support practical demonstrations and skill-based training activities as required.
14. Maintain discipline, cleanliness and safety at the workplace.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

Relevant experience in fruits & vegetables processing or food processing.

Good practical knowledge of food handling, preservation and packaging.

Ability to operate basic processing equipment.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

TOT-certified trainer preferred for training assignments.
