Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Phlebotomist to collect blood and other patient samples safely and accurately for laboratory testing. The candidate will be responsible for patient preparation, sample collection, proper labelling, handling and transportation while maintaining hygiene, safety and infection-control standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform blood collection through venipuncture and other approved techniques.
2. Verify patient identity and laboratory test requirements before sample collection.
3. Explain the sample collection procedure to patients and provide appropriate assistance.
4. Properly label, store and transport blood and other specimens.
5. Maintain accurate records of collected samples and patient information.
6. Follow infection-control, hygiene and biomedical waste-management protocols.
