We are looking for a creative, talented, and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to develop innovative and marketable clothing and apparel designs. The candidate will be responsible for creating design concepts, preparing sketches, selecting fabrics and colours, developing samples, and keeping up with current fashion trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and innovative designs for garments and apparel.
• Prepare fashion sketches, design concepts, and technical drawings.
• Select suitable fabrics, colours, trims, prints, and accessories.
• Conduct research on current fashion trends, customer preferences, and market requirements.
• Create patterns and coordinate with tailors, pattern makers, and production teams.
• Develop samples and ensure proper fit, finishing, and quality.
• Modify designs based on feedback and production requirements.
• Maintain design documentation, specifications, and sample records.
• Coordinate with merchandising, production, and sourcing teams.
• Ensure designs are aligned with brand identity, quality standards, and target customers.
• Stay updated with new fabrics, techniques, technologies, and fashion trends.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of fashion and apparel design.
• Excellent fashion sketching and illustration skills.
• Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and stitching.
• Understanding of fabrics, textiles, colours, and trims.
• Creativity and strong visual sense.
• Knowledge of fashion trends and market trends.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/design software is an advantage.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
