Jobs Description
- Deliver theoretical and practical training in tailoring, cutting, stitching, garment construction, and finishing.
- Train candidates on the operation and maintenance of industrial and domestic sewing machines.
- Demonstrate pattern making, fabric cutting, garment drafting, and fitting techniques.
- Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, and learning materials aligned with NSQF/NSDC standards.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and hands-on sessions to improve trainees' technical skills.
- Evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments, assignments, and tests.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, and training documentation accurately.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of sewing machines, tools, and training equipment.
- Guide trainees on workplace safety, quality standards, and professional ethics.
- Support candidates in interview preparation, employability skills, and placement activities.
- Coordinate with project teams, training managers, and placement officers to achieve project targets.
- Encourage entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities in tailoring and fashion-related businesses.
- Stay updated with the latest garment manufacturing techniques, fashion trends, and skill development guidelines.
- Strong knowledge of tailoring, garment construction, cutting, stitching, and pattern making.
- Expertise in industrial and domestic sewing machine operations.
- Excellent classroom training and practical demonstration skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring abilities.
- Knowledge of NSQF, PMKVY, Skill India, and AMHSSC guidelines.
- Ability to assess trainee performance and maintain training documentation.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint).
Education Qualification
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree
Technical Education : Diploma in Fashion Designing
Certificate : Certificate in Tailoring & Dress Making
Industrial Certificate : Strong knowledge of garment construction, cutting, stitching, and finishing techniques
