The Electric Vehicle (EV) Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electric vehicles. This role requires in-depth knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including battery management, high-voltage components, software updates, and electrical diagnostics. The technician must ensure vehicles are repaired to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

1) Inspection & Diagnosis

• Diagnose issues in electric vehicles using specialized tools and diagnostic software.
• Perform comprehensive inspections on electrical, mechanical, and software systems.
• Troubleshoot high-voltage battery systems, charging systems, and electric drivetrains.

2) Repair & Maintenance

• Repair and replace high-voltage batteries, power electronics, inverters, and motors.
• Conduct maintenance services, including brakes, suspension, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Perform software updates and calibrations on EV control systems.

3) Customer Support

• Communicate findings and solutions to service advisors and customers.
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.

4) Safety & Compliance

• Follow high-voltage safety protocols and maintain compliance with company and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
