Job Description – Assistant Beauty Therapist
- Welcome clients and assist them throughout their salon or spa visit.
- Perform basic beauty treatments such as facials, threading, waxing, manicures, and pedicures.
- Assist senior beauty therapists with advanced skincare, makeup, and beauty treatments.
- Conduct basic skin analysis and recommend suitable beauty products and services.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitization of treatment rooms, tools, and equipment.
- Prepare treatment rooms and beauty products before client appointments.
- Schedule appointments and maintain client records.
- Promote and upsell beauty products and salon services.
- Ensure compliance with salon policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest beauty trends, products, and treatment techniques.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build positive client relationships.
- 10th/12th pass or Diploma/Certificate in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in a salon, spa, beauty clinic, or wellness center (freshers with relevant training may also apply).
- Knowledge of basic beauty treatments and skincare techniques.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional grooming and customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.
