About the Role
AISECT is seeking a qualified and experienced Processed Food Entrepreneur Trainer to deliver NSQF-aligned training under the FIC/Q9001 Qualification Pack. The trainer will play a key role in developing candidates’ technical skills and entrepreneurial capabilities in the food processing sector.
Trainer Certification Requirement
- Must be TOT (Training of Trainers) Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council (FICSI or relevant SSC)
- Must be Domain Certified for Processed Food Entrepreneur (FIC/Q9001)
- Preferred: Certified Trainer under VET / Skills Trainer Certification
Educational Qualification (As per NSQF Guidelines)
Candidate must meet any one of the following:
- M.Sc./MTech/ME in Food Technology / Food Engineering with 1–2 years of experience
or - B.Sc./B.Tech/BE in Food Technology / Dairy Technology / Food Engineering with 2–3 years of experience
or - Diploma in Food Technology / Food Engineering with 4–5 years of experience
Experience Requirements
- Relevant Food Processing Industry Experience (1–5 years as per qualification)
- Minimum 1 year of training/teaching experience preferred
- Experience in food entrepreneurship or small-scale food business operations is an added advantage
- Conduct candidate counselling and guidance
- Deliver training as per Sector Skill Council curriculum (FICSI standards)
- Monitor and maintain candidate attendance records
- Prepare and submit Daily MIS reports
- Conduct pre-assessments and internal evaluations
- Prepare candidates for final assessment and certification
- Motivate candidates for placements, self-employment, and high performance
- Ensure minimum 95% assessment success rate
- Provide practical training and entrepreneurship guidance
- Maintain compliance with NSQF and Skill India standards
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of food processing, preservation, and hygiene practices (FSSAI standards)
- Understanding of entrepreneurship in food business
- Good communication and training delivery skills
- Knowledge of NSDC / SSC ecosystem and assessment process
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting and MIS
