Job Role
We are hiring a Retail Sales Associate (RAS/Q0104 – v3.0) Trainer certified under the relevant Sector Skill Council. The trainer will be responsible for delivering structured training programs aligned with NSQF guidelines and ensuring high-quality learning outcomes, assessment readiness, and placement support for candidates.
Mandatory Certification
- Must be TOT (Training of Trainers) Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council for Retail Sales Associate (RAS/Q0104 – v3.0)
- Certification aligned with NSQF Level 4
Educational Qualification (As per NSQF Guidelines – Retail Sales Associate Level 4)
Any one of the following:
- Graduate in any discipline with minimum 1–2 years of relevant Retail industry experience
OR - 12th Pass with minimum 3–4 years of Retail Sales experience
OR - Relevant experience in Retail Sales/Store Operations with SSC certification
Experience Required
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a Retail Trainer or in Retail Store Operations
- Experience in Skill Development projects (PMKVY/DDU-GKY/State Skill Missions preferred)
- Experience in handling batch training, assessments, and placements
Key Responsibilities
- Counselling the Candidates
- Conduct pre-enrolment counselling and orientation sessions
- Explain course structure, assessment process, and placement opportunities
- Conduct pre-enrolment counselling and orientation sessions
- Attendance Monitoring
- Maintain daily attendance records
- Ensure minimum attendance compliance as per project norms
- Maintain daily attendance records
- Daily MIS Reporting
- Submit Daily/Weekly MIS reports
- Maintain batch files, trainee documentation, and training records
- Submit Daily/Weekly MIS reports
- Pre-Assessment
- Conduct mock tests and internal evaluations
- Identify learning gaps and provide remedial training
- Conduct mock tests and internal evaluations
- Assessment & Certification Preparation
- Prepare candidates for SSC assessment
- Ensure documentation and practical readiness
- Coordinate with assessment agencies
- Prepare candidates for SSC assessment
- Placement & Motivation
- Motivate candidates for placement opportunities
- Guide candidates for interview preparation
- Encourage good performance and professional behaviour
- Motivate candidates for placement opportunities
- Result Achievement
- Ensure minimum 95% assessment result target
- Maintain high certification and placement success rate
- Ensure minimum 95% assessment result target
