About the Job Role
Multi Skill Technician (Food Processing) Trainer will be responsible for delivering NSQF aligned training as per the Qualification Pack developed by the Food Industry Capacity & Skill Initiative (FICSI) under Skill India ecosystem. The trainer will ensure high-quality training, assessment readiness, placement motivation, and overall performance of trainees.
The job role focuses on developing skilled workforce for the food processing industry including food safety, hygiene, packaging, and basic production operations.
Trainer Mandatory Certification
- Trainer must be TOT Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council (FICSI).
- Domain Certification for Job Role FIC/Q9007 (Minimum 80% score).
- Recommended: Trainer Certification mapped to QP MEP/Q0102 (Minimum 80%).
Education Qualification & Experience (As per NSQF / FICSI)
- Diploma in Food Technology / Food Engineering
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in food processing industry
Industry Experience Area:
Fruit & Vegetable Processing / Bakery / Food Processing Industry.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Counsel and mobilize candidates for the training program.
- Deliver training as per SSC approved curriculum and model content.
- Ensure theory + practical training aligned to NSQF standards.
- Monitor trainees’ attendance and discipline daily.
- Maintain lab, equipment and food safety practices during training.
Assessment & Certification
- Conduct pre-assessment and internal evaluations.
- Prepare candidates for final assessment and certification.
- Ensure trainees follow hygiene, safety and production practices.
MIS & Reporting
- Maintain daily MIS reports and batch documentation.
- Track trainee progress and performance.
Placement & Results
- Motivate trainees for employment and career growth.
- Support placement activities and employer connect.
- Ensure minimum 95% result target for certification.
