A Guest Service Executive (Front Office) is responsible for managing front desk operations, welcoming guests, handling check-in and check-out processes, addressing guest queries, and ensuring a positive guest experience in line with hospitality standards.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Welcome guests warmly and ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures

  2. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally

  3. Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications

  4. Maintain accurate guest records and front office documentation

  5. Coordinate with housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance teams

  6. Handle telephone calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries

  7. Manage billing, cash handling, and payment transactions

  8. Ensure compliance with service quality, safety, and hygiene standards

  9. Maintain professional grooming, etiquette, and communication

  10. Upsell hotel services to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue

Educational & Experience Requirements

  1. Minimum qualification: 10+2 (Preferred)

  2. Diploma / Certificate in Hotel Management or Hospitality (Desirable)

  3. Freshers can apply; experience in front office is an added advantage


Work Environment

  1. Hotels, resorts, guest houses, and hospitality establishments

  2. Shift-based work including night shifts, weekends, and holidays

  3. Continuous interaction with guests and internal departments
