The Domestic IT Helpdesk Attendant is responsible for providing first-level technical support to internal users. The role includes troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth IT operations, and delivering timely and effective user support.


🔧 Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Provide first-level IT support to staff for hardware and software issues
  2. Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral problems
  3. Assist users with Windows OS, email, and basic software issues
  4. Support internet, LAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity problems
  5. Install, configure, and update basic software applications
  6. Log, track, and resolve IT tickets within defined timelines
  7. Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff
  8. Maintain records of issues, solutions, and system updates
  9. Ensure data security and follow IT policies and procedures
  10. Provide polite and professional customer support to users

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Minimum: 10+2 / ITI / Diploma (Computer or IT preferred)
  2. Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking
  3. Familiarity with Windows OS and MS Office
  4. Good communication skills (Hindi / basic English)
  5. Willingness to work in shifts (if required)
