📠Job Summary
The Carpenter – Wooden Furniture Trainer (FFS/Q0102) will be responsible for delivering high-quality, industry-aligned skill training in carpentry and wooden furniture making, strictly as per NSQF and Sector Skill Council guidelines. The trainer will guide, mentor, and prepare candidates through structured classroom and hands-on practical sessions, ensuring strong technical competency, assessment readiness, and employability outcomes. The role also involves counselling candidates, monitoring performance and attendance, maintaining daily MIS reports, and ensuring a minimum 95% certification result, while motivating trainees towards placement and career growth.
🎓 Trainer Qualification (As per NSQF Guidelines)
The Trainer must fulfill any one of the following criteria:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 1 year of experience in the relevant field
OR - 3-Year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience in the relevant field
OR - NTC/NAC certified in the trade of Wood Work Technician / Carpenter with minimum 3 years of experience in the relevant field
✅ Mandatory:
- Trainer must be TOT Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council (Furniture & Fittings Sector Skill Council – FFSC)

- Counselling and mobilizing candidates for the training program
- Delivering training strictly as per SSC-approved module curriculum
- Ensuring daily attendance monitoring of candidates
- Preparing and submitting Daily MIS Reports
- Conducting Pre-Assessment sessions
- Preparing candidates for final assessment & certification
- Motivating candidates for placements and achieving high grades
- Ensuring minimum 95% result performance
- Maintaining discipline, quality training standards, and documentation
- Supporting placement linkage and employability readiness
