🔠About the Role
Global Group Pune is looking for a committed and proactive Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a secure working environment across industrial project sites. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial safety, risk assessment, and implementation of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols.
📠Key Responsibilities
- âœ”ï¸ Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, policies, and procedures on-site
- âœ”ï¸ Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions
- âœ”ï¸ Carry out safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification
- âœ”ï¸ Monitor and maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident records
- âœ”ï¸ Assist in accident investigations and suggest preventive measures
- âœ”ï¸ Ensure proper use of PPE and safe working practices
- âœ”ï¸ Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and management for EHS compliance
- âœ”ï¸ Implement safety standards as per industrial norms and company guidelines
- âœ”ï¸ Promote safety culture through continuous monitoring & awareness
🎯 Candidate Requirements
- 🎓 Graduate (mandatory)
- 🧑💼 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Projects
- 🔧 Strong knowledge of safety procedures, EHS guidelines & risk controls
- 📠Good understanding of statutory and legal safety requirements
- 💬 Excellent communication & reporting skills
- ðŸ•µï¸ Ability to identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective actions
