🔧 Job Description – Junior Design Engineer
Procad Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical design, strong proficiency in SolidWorks, and the ability to convert concepts into detailed 3D models and engineering drawings.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate 3D designs, CAD models, and detailed engineering drawings using SolidWorks.
- Support product development activities including concept design, prototyping, and design validation.
- Work closely with senior engineers to prepare BOM, design documentation, and technical specifications.
- Perform design modifications, revisions, and optimizations as per client and project requirements.
- Ensure all designs meet quality standards, industry guidelines, and mechanical engineering principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design reviews, feasibility studies, and project updates.
- Assist in DFMEA, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
- Maintain project files and follow standard design processes and company protocols.

✨ Knowledge of GD&T, mechanical fundamentals & engineering calculations
✨ Understanding of manufacturing processes (Sheet Metal, Machining, Fabrication, Plastics)

✨ Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and standards
✨ Good communication and teamwork abilities
✨ Attention to detail and design accuracy
