Role Overview

The Field Executive is responsible for identifying potential rural markets, sourcing eligible customers, managing customer groups, ensuring timely repayments, and conducting financial literacy activities. The role focuses on strengthening microfinance operations by building strong customer relationships and ensuring smooth loan lifecycle management.


Key Responsibilities

1. Village & Customer Identification

  • Identify suitable villages based on customer behaviors, repayment history, accessibility, population, and socio-political stability.
  • Shortlist potential customers within identified villages.

2. Sourcing & Customer Onboarding

  • Assess creditworthiness of prospective rural customers.
  • Assist in forming customer groups by associating 4–5 women from similar socio-economic backgrounds.
  • Complete loan processing activities including:
    • Customer & household data entry (QDE & DDE)
    • Application form filling
  • Conduct Core Group Training (CGT) on:
    • Product features
    • Group responsibilities
    • Repayment norms
  • Renewal and servicing of existing clients for repeat loan cycles.
  • Manage end-to-end customer lifecycle: sourcing → servicing → renewals.
  • Obtain customer referrals to expand outreach with quality profiles.
  • Educate customers on loan benefits, credit discipline, and group norms.
  • Address & resolve customer grievances.

3. Repayment & Portfolio Management

  • Support repayment planning and collection activities.
  • Assist with insurance death claim settlements and document updates.
  • Educate customers on credit scores and the importance of timely repayments.
  • Strengthen portfolio quality by increasing the active customer base through good customer engagement.

4. Financial Literacy & Awareness Activities

In addition to business responsibilities, the Field Executive will conduct various customer-centric activities such as:

  • Financial Inclusion drives
  • Financial Literacy Campaigns
  • Awareness programs on banking services
  • Facilitating PMJDY (Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana) account openings

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Field knowledge with willingness to travel in rural areas
  • Basic computer proficiency & data entry skills
  • Customer-centric approach
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships
  • Problem-solving and grievance-handling abilities

Working Conditions

  • Extensive fieldwork in assigned rural areas
  • Interaction with customers, village groups, and local stakeholders
