About the Role
As a Trainer for the job-role of Livestock Service Provider (QP code: AGR/Q4804) you will be responsible for delivering high‐quality training, counselling, and monitoring of candidates, ensuring they achieve certification and placement outcomes with minimum 95% result guarantee.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct counselling and orientation of candidates: explain course objectives, outcomes, job role of Livestock Service Provider.
• Deliver training sessions as per the curriculum/module designed by the respective Sector Skill Council (SSC) for the AGR/Q4804 job role.
• Monitor and track candidate attendance, ensure consistent participation and engagement.
• Produce daily MIS reports capturing attendance, progress, issues, feedback.
• Conduct pre-assessment of candidates to gauge their baseline and readiness.
• Prepare candidates for final assessment and certification: ensure they meet all module requirements.
• Motivate and coach candidates towards achieving good grades and assist with placement readiness (soft skills, job search, employer interaction).
• Ensure that at least 95% of the batch clear certification and are placed (or ready for placement) within stipulated timelines.
• Liaise with assessment bodies and SSCs, ensure all documentation, candidate records, and certification submissions are accurate and timely.
• Continuously provide feedback and improvement suggestions to curriculum owners or training partner organization to enhance batch outcomes.

Education, Qualification & Experience (Trainer Profile)
As per the job-role AGR/Q4804 (NSQF Level 4) and related trainer criteria:

• Must be TOT (Trainer-of-Trainers) certified by the respective Sector Skill Council (SSC).
• Qualification: One of the following (or equivalent) in relevant domain (animal husbandry / livestock / agriculture / veterinary)
  • Post-Graduate in Animal Science / Veterinary Science
  • BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) or B.Tech (Dairy) or B.Sc. (Agriculture) with specialization in Animal Husbandry / Livestock / Zoology
  • Diploma in Veterinary / Animal Husbandry / Dairying (with adequate experience)
• Experience: Relevant industry/training experience in livestock services / animal health / extension / animal husbandry. For example:
  • If Graduate: ~3-4 years relevant experience
  • If Diploma: ~5 years relevant experience
  • If higher qualification: lesser years may suffice
    (These benchmarks align broadly with SSC guidelines for trainer profiles for AGR/Q4804)
• Strong training/facilitation skills, ability to deliver practical and theoretical sessions, monitor progress and outcomes.
• Good communication and counselling skills, ability to motivate candidates and work towards placement orientation.
• Familiarity with MIS reporting, attendance tracking, candidate assessment/preparation.
