Job Summary

Nagaland Tool Room & Training Centre (NTTC) is seeking a qualified and passionate Assistant Electrician Trainer (CON/Q0602) to deliver skill-based training under the Construction Skill Development Programme. The trainer will conduct both theoretical and practical sessions as per the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) and Sector Skill Council (SSC) standards.
The ideal candidate will not only ensure quality training delivery but also mentor and motivate trainees toward achieving certification and successful placement — maintaining a 95% result guarantee. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality classroom and practical training sessions as per SSC-approved curriculum.
  • Counsel, mentor, and motivate candidates throughout the training journey.
  • Monitor attendance, maintain discipline, and ensure active learner participation.
  • Prepare and submit daily MIS reports, class records, and other required documentation.
  • Conduct pre-assessments and mock tests to evaluate trainee readiness.
  • Prepare candidates for final assessments and certification by SSC.
  • Ensure 95% certification success rate through continuous learner engagement and guidance.
  • Maintain workshop/lab safety, proper usage of tools and training equipment.
  • Collaborate with NTTC management, SSC, and placement partners to ensure overall training quality and outcome achievement.

Qualification, Certification & Experience

Educational Qualification:

  • B.Tech/B.E. (Electrical Engineering) with a minimum of 1 year of relevant industry or training experience; OR
  • Diploma (Electrical Engineering) with at least 2 years of relevant experience; OR
  • ITI (Electrical Trade) / 12th pass with at least 4 years of relevant industry experience in electrical/construction work.

Certification Requirement:

  • Must be TOT (Training of Trainers) Certified by the respective Sector Skill Council (CSDCI or equivalent).
  • Must comply with NSQF Level 3 standards for Assistant Electrician (CON/Q0602).
