Job Summary

The Placement Manager will be responsible for ensuring effective placement of trained candidates through strong industry partnerships, employer engagement, and consistent student support. This role demands strategic networking, proactive coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and data-driven placement management. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of industry requirements, have a results-oriented mindset, and be passionate about connecting skilled youth with career opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

Industry Linkages & Partnerships

  • Establish and strengthen partnerships with hospitals, diagnostic centers, healthcare organizations, and corporate employers.
  • Identify new sectors and emerging job opportunities relevant to the program’s skill areas.
  • Represent TMF at job fairs, campus drives, and professional networking events to promote placement collaborations.

Coordination & Training Support

  • Work closely with trainers, center heads, and project managers to align training programs with employer expectations.
  • Conduct employability enhancement activities including interview preparation, grooming sessions, and communication workshops.
  • Organize campus interviews and employer visits to facilitate smooth hiring processes.

Placement Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain and update student and employer databases with complete placement information.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual placement reports, including success stories and analytical insights.
  • Track post-placement performance and retention of candidates to ensure sustainability.

Student & Alumni Engagement

  • Counsel and mentor students to boost confidence, motivation, and professionalism.
  • Conduct career guidance sessions and alumni meetups to strengthen the Foundation’s placement network.
  • Build a strong feedback mechanism with alumni and employers to improve training and placement effectiveness.

Administrative & Strategic Support

  • Support the development of placement policies and strategies to enhance outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the Foundation’s communication team to share placement success stories.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational and donor reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong networking, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data management systems (MIS).
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of achieving placement targets and managing corporate partnerships.
  • Awareness of current trends and hiring practices in the healthcare and skill development sectors.
