Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chiller Operator to efficiently operate, monitor, and maintain all utility systems, including chillers, air compressors, cooling towers, and related equipment. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in chiller operations with strong technical knowledge and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and manage the shift operations of:
- Cooling Towers
- Air Compressors
- Nitrogen (Nâ‚‚) Plant
- Brine Chillers
- Thermic Fluid Heaters
- Water Chillers
- Cooling Water Treatment Systems
- Cooling Towers
- Ensure smooth operation of all utility equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and rectification of operational issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain proper records of daily readings, operational logs, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure adherence to energy efficiency and process optimization standards.
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow parameters and take corrective actions when required.
- Comply with all safety protocols to promote a safe and hazard-free working environment.
- Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operation.
- Participate in preventive maintenance programs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of chiller and refrigeration systems.
- Proficiency in utility equipment operations (Air Compressors, Cooling Towers, Nâ‚‚ Plant, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret gauges, meters, and control panels.
- Knowledge of water treatment and cooling system chemistry.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Understanding of SOPs and industrial safety standards.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
