Job Summary:

Monster.com (India) Private Limited is looking for an experienced and creative Executive Chef to lead and oversee the culinary operations across all company-owned and franchise outlets. The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, exceptional culinary knowledge, and the ability to manage teams while maintaining the highest standards of quality, innovation, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities / Key Responsibility Areas (KRA):

  1. Outlet Management
    • Supervise and oversee day-to-day culinary operations across all outlets and ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
  2. Recipe Development & Upgradation
    • Upgrade existing food recipes and introduce innovative dishes for regular menus, festivals, and special events.
  3. Audits & Compliance
    • Conduct regular kitchen audits across company-owned and franchise outlets to ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance with standards.
  4. Franchise Support
    • Manage kitchen operations during new franchise setups and provide comprehensive culinary training and operational support.
  5. Cloud Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee the functioning and performance of the company’s cloud kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and delivery efficiency.
  6. Staffing & Training
    • Recruit, train, and mentor chefs and kitchen staff; promote teamwork and uphold culinary excellence.
  7. Vendor, Inventory & Wastage Management
    • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, monitor procurement, and maintain optimal inventory levels to minimize wastage.
  8. Crockery & Equipment Selection
    • Source, finalize, and standardize crockery, utensils, and kitchen equipment for all outlets.
  9. SOP Implementation
    • Develop, update, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations and food production.
  10. Menu Innovation
    • Design creative and profitable menus, seasonal offerings, and fusion dishes aligning with brand identity and market trends.
  11. Hands-on Cooking
    • Lead by example through active participation in cooking to ensure consistent quality and authenticity in every dish.
  12. Product Performance Tracking
    • Monitor menu item performance, analyze sales data, and adjust offerings to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
  13. Own Product Development
    • Develop proprietary products (e.g., sauces, masalas, breads, and other raw materials) for in-house and retail packaging.
  14. Costing & Budget Control
    • Prepare detailed food costing for all recipes and ensure overall kitchen profitability within budget parameters.
