About the Role

The Business Development Executive (BDE) will be part of the front-line sales team responsible for promoting and selling banking products and third-party financial services. The role involves customer acquisition, relationship building, and achieving sales targets through field visits and marketing activities.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through direct customer interaction and offsite marketing activities.
  • Sell various banking and third-party products (liability, assets, deposits, salary accounts, etc.) to new customers.
  • Contact existing customers to generate repeat business, deposits, and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Achieve daily, monthly, and quarterly sales targets as assigned.
  • Handle customer queries professionally and provide the best banking solutions.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
  • Ensure adherence to all compliance, regulatory, and company guidelines.
  • Participate in learning and certification programs (e.g., AMFI, EUIN, etc.) as required.
  • Travel locally for client meetings, promotional events, and field sales campaigns.

Key Skills & Role Proficiencies

  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English and the local language.
  • Strong interpersonal, lead generation, and conversion skills.
  • Ability to meet targets and work effectively under pressure.
  • Team player with high motivation and positive attitude.
  • Strong sales orientation and customer focus.
  • Willingness to travel locally for business development.
  • Must possess a smartphone compatible with required Android/iOS versions.

Qualifications & Eligibility

  • Education: Minimum 10th Pass or Graduate (as per role requirement).
  • Experience: Candidates with prior sales or business development experience preferred.
  • Freshers may also apply.
