Position Title: Trainer – Automotive Showroom Host (QP Code: ASC/Q1103)

Role Summary

The Trainer will be responsible for delivering training for the job role of “Automotive Showroom Host/Hostess” (ASC/Q1103) aligned with the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF) Level 3. They will counsel candidates, deliver training as per the curriculum designed by the relevant Sector Skill Council (SSC) in the automotive sector, monitor attendance, submit daily MIS reports, conduct pre-assessments, prepare candidates for assessment and certification, motivate them for good performance and placement, and ensure a minimum 95% result guarantee for the batch.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel/provide career guidance to candidates interested in enrolling for the Automotive Showroom Host programme.
• Deliver classroom and/or blended training sessions as per the module curriculum developed by the SSC (automotive sector) for ASC/Q1103.
• Monitor candidate attendance, engagement, and progress; maintain accurate daily attendance records.
• Prepare and submit daily MIS (Management Information System) reports on training, attendance, progress, issues, etc.
• Conduct pre-assessment of candidates (to gauge baseline) and regularly evaluate progress during training.
• Prepare candidates for the final assessment and certification process (including collaboration with assessment agencies).
• Motivate the learners to aim for strong grades and guide them towards placement opportunities in the automotive showroom / dealership sector.
• Aim to achieve 95% result guarantee (i.e., 95% of candidates passing the certification/assessment) for your batches.
• Coordinate with the training Centre management, SSC/assessment body, and placement cell to ensure smooth implementation.
• Maintain training infrastructure and resources (course materials, handouts, equipment) in good working order; ensure alignment with the curriculum and standards.
• Provide feedback to management about batch performance, improvement areas, and candidate issues.
• Ensure training practices comply with quality norms defined under NSQF and by SSCs.

Trainer Education, Qualification & Experience Requirements

Mandatory:

• TOT (Training of Trainers) certified by the relevant Sector Skill Council or equivalent recognized body.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong proficiency in Hindi (and preferably English) to deliver training effectively.
• Proven experience in training delivery in the vocational/skilling domain, particularly in automotive or related customer-service oriented job roles.
• Comfortable with using/monitoring MIS, attendance systems, and preparing reports.
• Strong motivational and counselling skills.

Preferred / Desirable:

• Graduate or Diploma in any discipline; preferably with exposure to automotive, sales, customer service or dealership operations.
• Prior industry experience in automobile showroom/dealership (customer-facing or hosting role) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in vocational training for NSQF aligned job roles.
• Familiarity with the job role ASC/Q1103 (Automotive Showroom Host/Hostess) — the QP is aligned at NSQF Level 3.
• Experience in achieving high pass-rates and placement outcomes for training batches.

• Adaptability: conduct training in possibly blended format (online + offline) and manage remote engagement.

• Reports to: Training Centre Head / Programme Manager – Medhavi Foundation
• Key metrics:
  • Attendance of trainees (target ≥ 90% attendance)
  • Pre-assessment and post-assessment improvement
  • Certification pass rate (target ≥ 95%)
  • Placement rate and grade performance of candidates
  • Daily MIS report submission on time
