Position Overview
Medhavi Foundation is seeking a certified and experienced Electric Vehicle (EV) Service Technician Trainer to deliver high-quality training aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) Level 4 standards. The trainer will be responsible for imparting knowledge and skills to candidates as per the ASC/Q1429 Qualification Pack, ensuring their preparedness for assessment and certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Counseling: Provide guidance and support to candidates, helping them understand the training process and career opportunities in the EV sector.
- Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions based on the ASC/Q1429 module curriculum, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all topics.
- Attendance Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of candidate attendance and participation.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare and submit daily Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing training activities and candidate progress.
- Pre-Assessment: Administer pre-assessment tests to evaluate candidates' baseline knowledge and skills.
- Assessment Preparation: Prepare candidates for final assessments and certification, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Motivation: Encourage and motivate candidates to achieve high grades and secure placements in the EV industry.
- Result Achievement: Strive to achieve a 95% pass rate among candidates, ensuring quality training outcomes.
Educational Qualifications
- Essential:
- Trainer Certification: MEP/Q2601, Trainer (VET and Skills), Version-2, with a minimum score of 80%.
- Domain Certification: ASC/Q1429, Electric Vehicle Service Technician, Version 1.0, with a minimum score of 80%.
- Educational Qualification:
- Certificate in Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (NSQF Level 6) with at least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
- OR Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 4 years of relevant industry experience.
- OR Bachelor's degree in Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Certificate in Automobile/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (NSQF Level 6) with at least 1 year of relevant industry experience.
- Specialization: Relevant specialization in Electric Vehicle technology or related fields.
- Trainer Certification: MEP/Q2601, Trainer (VET and Skills), Version-2, with a minimum score of 80%.
Experience Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years in the Electric Vehicle service sector, with hands-on experience in servicing and maintaining EVs.
- Training Experience: At least 1 year of experience in delivering vocational training, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Certifications: Possession of valid and recognized certifications in EV service and training.
Skills and Competencies
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Electric Vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Training Skills: Ability to effectively deliver training sessions, using various teaching methods and tools.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Motivational Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate candidates to achieve their best performance.
- Reporting Skills: Proficiency in preparing and submitting detailed reports as per project requirements
