Job Title: Battery System Repair Technician (ELE/Q7001) Trainer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Trainer for the role of Battery System Repair Technician (ELE/Q7001) under the Gujarat Skill Development Mission. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Trainer’s Certificate from the respective Sector Skill Council (TOT Certified) and have the requisite educational qualifications and experience as per the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF).

Trainer Qualification and Experience:

• Educational Qualification:
  • 12th Class pass (with Science and Mathematics)
  • OR Certificate-NSQF Level-3 in Electric Vehicle (EV), Electrical, Mechanical, or Automotive domain
  • OR Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • OR B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience in Battery System Repair or related fields
  • Experience in training or teaching is preferred
• Certification:
  • TOT (Trainer’s Training) Certification from the respective Sector Skill Council is mandatory

Key Responsibilities:

1. Counseling Candidates:
   • Provide career guidance and counseling to candidates regarding the Battery System Repair Technician role and its prospects.
2. Training Delivery:
   • Impart training as per the module curriculum designed by the Sector Skill Council.
   • Ensure the training is aligned with NSQF standards and industry requirements.
3. Monitoring Attendance:
   • Maintain accurate attendance records of all candidates.
   • Ensure regularity and punctuality among trainees.
4. Daily MIS Reporting:
   • Prepare and submit daily Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing training progress, attendance, and any issues encountered.
5. Pre-Assessment:
   • Conduct pre-assessment tests to evaluate the baseline knowledge and skills of candidates.
6. Preparation for Assessment and Certification:
   • Guide candidates in preparing for the final assessment and certification as per the Sector Skill Council guidelines.
7. Motivation for Placement and Performance:
   • Encourage candidates to aim for high performance and assist in placement opportunities.
8. Result Achievement:
   • Strive to achieve a 95% success rate in candidate assessments.

• Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Battery System Repair, Electric Vehicles, and related technologies.

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Proficiency in using training aids and tools.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

  • Proficient in maintaining records, preparing reports, and managing training schedules.
