Position Overview
We are seeking a certified and experienced Trainer for the role of Field Technician – Computing and Peripherals (ELE/Q4601). The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training aligned with the National Skill Qualification Framework (NSQF) and Sector Skill Council standards, ensuring candidates are well-prepared for assessment and certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Counseling Candidates: Provide guidance and support to candidates, helping them understand the training process and career opportunities.
- Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions based on the module curriculum designed by the Sector Skill Councils, ensuring adherence to NSQF standards.
- Attendance Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of candidate attendance and participation.
- Daily MIS Reporting: Prepare and submit daily Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing training activities and candidate progress.
- Pre-Assessment: Administer pre-assessment tests to evaluate candidates' baseline knowledge and skills.
- Assessment Preparation: Prepare candidates for final assessments and certification, ensuring they meet the required standards.
- Motivation for Placement: Encourage and motivate candidates to achieve good grades and pursue placement opportunities.
- Result Achievement: Strive to achieve a 95% pass rate among candidates, ensuring high-quality training outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduate with a Certificate/Diploma in Computer Hardware.
- Science Graduate with 1 year of Teaching Experience.
- Engineer Graduate or higher degree in relevant fields (e.g., Computer Science, Electronics Engineering) with 1 year of Teaching Experience.
- Polytechnic Diploma in relevant disciplines with 1 year of Teaching Experience and a total of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Graduate with a Certificate/Diploma in Computer Hardware.
- Trainer Certification:
- TOT (Training of Trainers) certified by the respective Sector Skill Council.
- TOT (Training of Trainers) certified by the respective Sector Skill Council.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching or training experience in the relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching or training experience in the relevant field.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and guide candidates effectively.
- Proficiency in using training tools and technologies.
