Position Overview
We are seeking a certified and experienced Trainer for the role of Multi Skill Technician in Food Processing. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Trainer’s Certification from the respective Sector Skill Council and have a strong background in food processing techniques, including sorting, grading, canning, and production of various food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Counseling & Guidance: Provide career counseling and guidance to trainees, helping them understand the scope and opportunities in the food processing industry.
- Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions based on the curriculum and modules designed by the Sector Skill Council, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Attendance Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of trainee attendance and report discrepancies promptly.
- Daily MIS Reporting: Prepare and submit daily Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing training progress, attendance, and other relevant metrics.
- Pre-Assessment: Conduct preliminary assessments to evaluate the baseline skills and knowledge of trainees before commencing training.
- Assessment Preparation: Prepare trainees for final assessments and certification, ensuring they meet the required competencies.
- Motivation & Placement Support: Encourage and motivate trainees to achieve high grades and assist in placement efforts post-certification.
- Result Achievement: Strive to achieve a minimum of 95% pass rate among trainees.
Trainer Qualification & Experience
- Educational Qualification: Minimum of 12th grade pass; OR Completed 2nd year of a 3-year diploma after 10th; OR 10th grade pass with 3 years of experience in food processing; OR 8th grade pass with 6 years of experience in food processing; OR Previous relevant qualification of NSQF Level 3.0 with 3 years of experience in food processing; OR Previous relevant qualification of NSQF Level 3.5 with 1.5 years of experience in food processing.
- Trainer Certification: Must possess a valid Trainer’s Certification from the respective Sector Skill Council.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in food processing, including practical knowledge of equipment and production processes.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse groups, and proficiency in using training aids and technologies.
