Experience: Prior experience as a Sewing Machine Operator is mandatory
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for operating various types of sewing machines to produce high-quality garments and textile products. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of stitching techniques, garment construction, and machine maintenance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate sewing machines to stitch fabric parts according to design and specifications.
- Ensure accurate stitching, finishing, and fitting of garments.
- Inspect garments for quality standards and make necessary adjustments.
- Maintain and troubleshoot sewing machines for smooth operation.
- Handle different fabrics (cotton, denim, polyester, etc.) efficiently.
- Work closely with production supervisors to meet daily targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain discipline on the production floor.
- Assist in training new operators when required.
- Keep records of production output and report daily work status.
Key Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of industrial sewing machines (Single needle, Overlock, Flatlock, etc.)
- Ability to read and understand stitching specifications or sample pieces
- Knowledge of garment measurement and finishing techniques
- Attention to detail and precision in stitching
- Ability to meet production targets and deadlines
- Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills
- Teamwork and communication skills
