Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our team at SAEV P LTD. The ideal candidate must be a Graduate with strong knowledge in electrical systems and hands-on expertise in solar PV system installation. The role involves installing, maintaining, and testing solar photovoltaic systems while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar PV systems according to approved designs, specifications, and safety guidelines.
- Mount solar panels on roofs or other structures, ensuring proper alignment and secure attachment.
- Install and configure racking systems, inverters, batteries, and other system components.
- Connect electrical wiring and components in compliance with electrical codes and standards.
- Ensure proper grounding, bonding, and safety compliance of all installed systems.
- Inspect completed installations for quality assurance and adherence to technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, conduct routine maintenance, and ensure system efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of installation and testing reports.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors for smooth execution.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering / related discipline.
- Proven work experience as an Electrician, preferably in the solar PV sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and solar energy systems.
- Physically fit to work on rooftops and outdoor sites.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Skills Required:
- Expertise in electrical installations & wiring.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems and renewable energy technologies.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
- Team collaboration and effective communication skills.
- Attention to detail with hands-on technical ability.
