Job Summary

We are seeking a certified Trainer (ToT certified by the respective Sector Skill Council) to deliver training under the Jal Vitaran Sanchaalak (Water Distribution Operator) (Multi-Skill) course (QP Code: PSC/Q0122, NSQF Level 4). The Trainer will be responsible for counselling, delivering instruction per the curriculum, monitoring progress, assessments, and ensuring high pass rates and placement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Counselling the candidates
   • Engage with prospective trainees, explain course objectives, outcomes, and prerequisites.
   • Guide candidates on eligibility, career paths, and help them to set learning goals.
2. Training delivery as per module curriculum
   • Teach all modules as defined in the Model Curriculum of PSC/Q0122 (both theory and practical components).
   • Use appropriate pedagogical techniques, tools, aids, and ensure adherence to SSC / WMPSC guidelines.
3. Monitoring attendance
   • Maintain and track daily attendance of candidates.
   • Follow up on absentees, ensure minimum attendance norms are met according to SSC / scheme norms.
4. Daily MIS report
   • Prepare and submit daily Management Information System (MIS) reports covering training progress, attendance, issues, etc.
5. Pre-assessment
   • Before formally assessing for certification, conduct internal pre-assessments to gauge candidate readiness.
   • Use feedback to improve understanding and performance.
6. Prepare candidates for assessment and certification
   • Ensure candidates are aware of the assessment criteria, formats (theory, practical, viva).
   • Provide mock tests, practical drills, clarifications, revision sessions.
7. Motivate the candidates for placement and good grade
   • Encourage, mentor, and provide soft skills / employability training.
   • Keep morale high; help with interview preparation or connect to industry where possible.
8. Ensure high result guarantee (≈95%)
   • Strive to achieve at least 95% candidate success in assessments (certification) by suitably supporting learners.
   • Identify weak students early, provide remedial support.
