Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, controlling, and improving production processes while ensuring product quality, compliance, and efficiency. This role requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on experience in production engineering, and the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration for smooth plant operations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Control
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Coordinate with procurement, quality, and maintenance teams for seamless operations.
- Monitor workflow and adjust processes to optimize productivity and reduce downtime.
2. Process Improvement
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other optimization techniques for efficiency and cost control.
- Standardize work procedures and ensure strict adherence to best practices.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure products meet all quality specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to reduce defects and rejections.
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.
4. Equipment & Maintenance
- Monitor equipment performance and plan preventive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective measures.
- Recommend equipment upgrades or modifications to enhance reliability and productivity.
5. Team Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, R&D, supply chain, quality, and maintenance.
- Train, guide, and mentor production staff on processes, safety, and efficiency improvements.
- Prepare and present daily/weekly production reports, performance metrics, and improvement plans to management.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of production engineering processes and operations.
- Hands-on expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process optimization.
- Good knowledge of ITI-level technical skills and practical applications.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong team collaboration, leadership, and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of quality standards, compliance, and safety regulations.
Working Conditions
- Full-time role with factory/plant-based operations.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production deadlines.

Education Level : High School Diploma or Equivalent
