Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Electrician to join our Facilities & Maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, AC units, lifts, and other electrical components across the company premises. The role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including Sundays, ensuring smooth functioning of all electrical equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and related equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of Air Conditioners (ACs), Lifts, and other electrical components within the facility.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies during all electrical work.
- Maintain logs and records of all maintenance activities and prepare periodic reports.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors, when required, for specialized repair and servicing.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide quick solutions to restore systems.
- Assist in planning and implementing energy-saving initiatives and system upgrades.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in Electrician trade (mandatory).
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on experience as an Electrician in corporate offices, industries, or facilities.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, AC units, and lift maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Physically fit and capable of working in challenging conditions.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, Sundays, and on-call duty as per business requirements.
