About the Role

As a Trainer for General Duty Assistant (HSS/Q5101), you will deliver NSQF-aligned training, mentor candidates, ensure high pass rates, and prepare them for assessment and placement. You will be responsible for following the module curriculum designed by the Healthcare Sector Skill Council and maintaining standards as per the Model Curriculum and Qualification Pack.

Key Responsibilities

1. Counselling of candidates
   • Conduct pre-screening, orientation / counselling sessions to inform candidates about the course, expectations, assessment & career prospects.
2. Training delivery
   • Teach the curriculum as per the Sector Skill Council’s modules (both theory & practical).
   • Use appropriate pedagogical methods – classroom lectures, skill labs, role-plays, demonstrations, simulations, OJT etc.
3. Monitoring attendance
   • Track candidate attendance daily; ensure compliance as per norms.
   • Identify absenteeism issues and take corrective action.
4. Daily MIS reporting
   • Maintain and submit daily reports on training metrics: attendance, progress, issues faced etc.
5. Pre-assessment
   • Conduct periodic assessments (mock tests / practical evaluations) to gauge progress.
   • Ensure candidates are ready for final assessment.
6. Assessment & certification preparation
   • Guide and prepare candidates for SSC / Sector Skill Council assessments, following assessment criteria.
   • Ensure that all required documentation, practical readiness etc. are in place for certification.
7. Motivation & support for placement & good grade
   • Mentor candidates, coach soft skills, professional behaviour etc.
   • Assist or coordinate placement activities where applicable.
   • Encourage candidates to aim for high grades / performance.
8. Ensuring high result guarantee (95%)
   • Take ownership of training outcomes; ensure minimum pass rates (the target being 95%).
   • Identify gaps and remedial coaching where required.

• Working Hours: As per training schedule (including field / clinical hours where required)

Education Level : Bachelor's Degree

Technical Education : Diploma

Certificate : TOT Certified In General Duty Assistant

Industrial Certificate : Experience
