Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive to join our team at Blueseas Talent LLP. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, client interactions, and financial reporting. This role requires strong expertise in taxation, financial statement preparation, and compliance across multiple entity types. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills to deal with clients on a daily basis and provide professional financial advice that supports business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), payroll inputs, statutory compliance, and internal audits.
• Handle daily client interactions, ensuring professional communication and effective relationship management.
• Preparation of Income Tax Returns for all entity types including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, and Individuals.
• Preparation of financial statements for all entity types.
• Preparation and reviewing of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
• Preparation of Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) Returns, Taxable Payment Annual Reports (TPARs), and compliance with all ATO lodgement obligations.
• Provide financial and taxation advice based on financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
• Assist in audits, reconciliations, and compliance checks.
• Support management in decision-making through effective financial insights.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation laws, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, MYOB, Xero or similar).
• Excellent communication skills for daily client dealing and reporting.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide financial advice.
