Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and talented Diploma Engineer Trainees (DET) to join Motherson Automotive Technologies & Engineering. The role is designed to provide fresh diploma/ITI/B.Sc. graduates with hands-on experience in automotive manufacturing operations, quality control, and process improvement. Trainees will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop technical expertise, enhance productivity, and contribute to innovative solutions in one of the world’s leading automotive component manufacturing companies.

Designation: Diploma Engineer Trainee (DET)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day production operations while ensuring compliance with process standards and output targets.
- Work closely with senior engineers on lean manufacturing, process improvements, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Monitor and support the operation of machines and equipment, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Assist in quality control processes—conduct inspections, analyze defects, and maintain documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development and process optimization.
- Gain exposure to safety standards, shop floor practices, and modern automotive technologies.
Requirements
- Education:
- Diploma in Mechanical, Paint Technology, Automobile, or Mechatronics.
- ITI and B.Sc. candidates are also eligible.
- Diploma in Mechanical, Paint Technology, Automobile, or Mechatronics.
- Experience: Freshers / Candidates with relevant exposure in automotive manufacturing are preferred.
- Passing Year: 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 (Backlog candidates can also apply).
- Gender: Male/Female.
- Industry: Automotive Manufacturing.
