Job Summary

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort. The role contributes to delivering a welcoming and memorable guest experience by maintaining a neat, organized, and pleasant hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and organize guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Replace bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as per hotel standards.
• Ensure that all cleaning tasks comply with Lemon Tree Hotels’ hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
• Handle guest requests promptly and with a positive attitude.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist in laundry operations and replenish housekeeping supplies as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping trolleys, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and complete assigned checklists within the allocated time.
• Support the housekeeping team during peak occupancy to ensure guest satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications

• Qualification: Diploma in Hotel Management / Housekeeping or relevant field.
• Experience: Prior experience in housekeeping, hotel cleaning, or hospitality industry is required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet cleanliness standards.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Physically fit to perform tasks such as standing, bending, lifting, and carrying.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures preferred.

Work Environment

• Work involves cleaning hotel guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Requires long periods of standing, bending, and lifting up to 15–20 kg.
• Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Fast-paced, guest-focused, and team-oriented environment.
