Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Assembly Line Operator to join VVDN Technologies. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in assembly line operations with expertise in Quality, SMT (Surface Mount Technology), and Soldering processes. The role requires hands-on skills in handling and calibrating instruments, troubleshooting technical issues, performing AOI inspections, and ensuring compliance with international quality standards such as IPC-A-610. This position demands accuracy, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to maintaining high production and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Profile

• Prepare and maintain a master list of all measuring instruments (AC/DC power supply, Multimeter, torque meter, gauges, Vernier caliper, etc.).
• Conduct monthly reviews of the master list for additions/deletions based on user/SPOC confirmation.
• Categorize instruments for in-house/external calibration.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting of instruments with errors.
• Conduct verification of instruments post calibration.
• Handle calibration and validation of Jigs & Fixtures.

SMT Profile

• Understand AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) programming and fine-tune false calls in mass production.
• Perform AOI inspections for accurate detection of component placement and solder joint defects.
• Inspect populated PCBs and identify misplacements/defects as per IPC-A-610 standards.
• Update and validate AOI programs and inspection documents for production use.
• Collect SPC data and report defect trends identified during AOI inspections.
• Resolve AOI program-related issues and maintain inspection records.
• Perform AOI defect skip call analysis and NG sample validation.
• Oversee SMT processes and ensure quality in defect detection and resolution.

Soldering Profile

• Assemble and rework SMD and TH components.
• Perform manual wiring on PCB boards.
• Maintain store inventory related to soldering and assembly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in PCB boards.
• Support in basic circuit designing and making.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of Assembly Line Operations, PCB handling, and quality standards.
• Hands-on experience with calibration instruments and SMT processes.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
• Problem-solving and first-level troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams in fast-paced manufacturing setups.
• Attention to detail with high quality standards.
